The owners of Hachi Hachi pride themselves on the journey they have taken in developing its ethos – adventurous spirit and devotion to creating a wonderful dining ambience, as well as adherence to best practice.

Hachi Hachi exudes passion, and combines the very best cuisine with immaculate surroundings, sheer comfort and exceptional service.

This is a drive they have always had – to create the very best possible; an environment that takes the art of dining out a step further, to excellence in all things. In a sense they desire to make Hachi Hachi almost addictive, so that once you have sampled the exquisite food and enjoyed the atmosphere, you will certainly crave for more!

Much of the credit certainly belongs to executive chef, who worked hard to achieve his very best as a young chef, before moving to settle in New Zealand. A family man – who loves golf and surfing, not to mention his favourite, Sweet Teppanyaki Matsuzaka Beef – he has honed his skills for over 20 years.
