DO POINTS EXPIRE?

Yes, your points will expire from the birthday of your level. After registering you have 12 months to accumulate 4000 points and become Shogun.

To maintain your Shogun level, you must accumulate 4000 points to re-qualify. Your points will be reset every 12 months after the birthday from the date you reach Shogun.

If you are Daimyo, you must accumulate 2000 points every 12 months to maintain that level, and same rules apply as Shogun.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT ACCUMULATE THE NECESSARY POINTS IN 12 MONTHS?

If you do not accumulate 4000 points after the birthday you will be demoted to Daimyo.

If you are not able to accumulate 2000 points after 12 months from the anniversary date of when you became Daimyo, you will be demoted to Samurai.

HOW MANY DAYS DO I HAVE TO REDEEM MY MONTHLY REWARDS?

You have 30 days to redeem your rewards, so make sure you use them before the expiry date!

WHAT ITEMS ARE CONSIDERED A "HOT MEAL"?

A hot meal will be a Donburi, Curry, Noodles or Value Set. Please take note that some items are not applicable in the rewards system, or are seasonal, so please check in-store for the possibility of enjoying your reward with the meal you choose.

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR THE BIRTHDAY OFFER?

Guest must earn 1000 points to redeem the offer.

CAN I PARTICIPATE WITHOUT A SMARTPHONE?

Yes, we have created an online portal at Hachihachi.co.nz where you can enter your receipts and earn rewards.

WILL I LOSE MY CARD POINTS?

Absolutely not! Even though we have upgraded, we do not want you to miss out, so we will be converting your points to our new loyalty system. Just sign up for the app using the same email address as you used for your Hachi Hachi Club membership. Remember, your card must be registered in our system so you can transfer your points!

HOW DO I EARN POINTS?

You can earn points for scanning your Hachi Hachi receipts, scanning the bar code or through the QR Code in your app, which will give you 10 points for every 1 dollar you spend. You can also get points for signing up using Facebook. You can refer friends using the invite code under the Invite Friends section. If your friend enters that code when signing up, you will receive 100 points the first time they scan a receipt!

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO ENTER MY RECEIPT?

You have 72 hours from the time of purchase to enter your receipts into Hachi Hachi Rewards to earn points.

THE SCANNER WILL NOT ACCEPT MY RECEIPT. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

First, make sure you are allowing the app to access your camera. If you are still unable to scan, try entering the barcode manually. If you still have no success, please reach out to us through the contact us page on Hachihachi.co.nz or use the “Need Help” section on the app so we can get your issue resolved.

HOW MANY RECEIPTS CAN I ENTER AT A TIME?

You can scan one receipt every 4 hours.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO REDEEM MY POINTS?

Points expire one year from the date they are earned and can be used towards redeeming rewards any time during that one year.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO USE MY REDEMPTION CODE ONCE I HAVE CLICKED REDEEM?

Redemption codes generated by using your earned points will expire 2 hours after you click redeem in the app. If you redeem your rewards through the web portal on Hachihachi.co.nz, you will have 24 hours to redeem your printed redemption code. If you unintentionally allow a reward to expire, please let us through the “Need Help” section of the app or the Contact Us page on Hachihachi.co.nz.

CAN I REDEEM REWARDS RIGHT AFTER EARNING POINTS?

Yes! You can redeem rewards at any time but may only use one reward per visit.

I RECEIVED AN EMAIL LETTING ME KNOW I GOT A REWARD, BUT I CAN’T FIND IT. WHERE IS IT?

Any reward that Hachi Hachi gave you as a gift can be found under the “rewards” tab of the menu. For more info, please tap the "Inbox" tab.

I CLICKED “REDEEM REWARDS” AND WAS GIVEN A REDEMPTION CODE, BUT I LEFT THAT SCREEN AND CAN’T FIND IT. WHERE IS IT?

Unexpired redemption codes can be found under “Account History” via the “Account Settings” tab on the menu.
